Tree planting and carbon offsetting

Each month, we plant trees and invest in carbon offsetting projects around the world, according to the requirements of all of our individual and business customers.

All of our customers receive regular updates about the number of trees that they have planted and the number of tonnes of CO2e that have been offset.

We encourage you to read below about our tree planting initiatives and to explore our carbon offset project spotlights.

Reforesting the world

The current level of deforestation around the world is unsustainable. We have to do what we can to put back what we have taken away.

Our projects plant millions of trees every month where they have the biggest impact, focusing on locations that can support species that are fast-growing and that have high carbon sequestration.

This means planting trees all over the world, from Haiti to Madagascar to Nepal.

We plant only native species, ensuring that they benefit the local wildlife and biodiversity.

Our tree planting projects also have broader social, environmental and economic benefits for the communities where they are planted, as communities suffering from deforestation are often the same as those living in extreme poverty.

By employing locals, our projects enable them to afford daily necessities such as food, shelter, clothing, and medicine.

Project spotlights

Tree planting alone is not enough to offset your carbon footprint or to stop the effects of climate change.

It is also necessary to invest in carbon offsetting, which you can learn more about here.

In the meantime, we encourage you to explore our carbon offset project spotlights below.
